Pisak

1-prevPisak is a little fisherman’s and touristy place that pulls its roots from 1500 year, and the church of St. Marco testifies about it. The church is just on the coast of Adriatic Sea between Omiš and Makarska. It is 40 km far from Split and 20 km far from Makarska, settled near famous Vruja, which is bay protected by nature, 5 km far from the island of Brač and 120 km far from the famous sanctuary Međugorje. Our “Boženka house” is settled on the shore of the sea, surrounded by mountains.

The climate in Pisak is extremely favourable and suitable for sunbathing and bathing from May to October. Especially it’s pretty before season and after season because it’s extremely warm and quiet and the prices are much lower. We have pebbled beaches; the sea is clean and convenient for children because the sea goes gradually from shallow to deep. The sea is exceptionally clean because there never was industry near us, and we have a lot of sea streams that mixed it regularly. In that quiet and little place you have supermarket, little market with fresh fruit and vegetables and daily caught fresh fish, café bar and restaurants where you can eat local specialities. In Pisak you can rent a boat and go bathing on some of the smaller lonely beaches or go on one-day trip on the island Brač with boat.

In the neighbourhood of our place you have exceptional choice of sports and fun from board surfing to extremely attractive rafting on the famous river Cetina, and there is a possibility for paragliding and free climbing on mountain Biokovo. If you want a good nightlife you can have fun in numerous nightclubs in nearby Makarska. Omiš is best-known for the traditional Festival of the Dalmatian klapas.

In Pisak you will spend really quiet and relaxing vacation and you’ll surely want to come back again.
